GT3FLH - IOMARS 'FLASHING LIGHT HOUSES' |
The Isle of Man Amateur Radio Society hope to activate four light houses on the Isle of Man - Point of Ayre, Maughold Head, Douglas Head and Langness Point.
GT3FLH is the original club call used by the Isle of Man Amateur Radio Society, and was chosen to reflect operation on the Calf of Man, which is unique as there are three "flashing light houses" with 100 yards of each other.
Unfortunately due to a shortage of operators it has not been possible to complete our challenge in 2011. We will attempt to undertake this again in 2012 - watch this space!
